The Spotlight is a trailer at the top of your Update Center release page that automatically builds itself from your release's bites, or can be crafted manually in the editor. Each release has one Spotlight, and the page always plays its latest render.

Every release page features a Spotlight trailer that auto-generates highlights or can be crafted manually in the editor.

## What changed

Release pages in the Update Center now feature a Spotlight section, positioned at the top before you scroll, that holds a trailer generated from the release's bites. The Spotlight can be auto-built on request or created manually in the editor.

## Why it matters

You get a ready-to-watch trailer highlighting your release without manually assembling one, since the release picks moments, writes the words, and renders it automatically. Because the Spotlight stays linked to the release, the page always plays the latest render.

## Steps

1. Open a release page in the Update Center
2. Find the Spotlight section at the top
3. Ask for a Spotlight to have the release build one automatically
4. Or open the editor to start one from scratch

## Questions

### How is the Spotlight trailer created?

### Does the Spotlight stay up to date?

Yes, it's linked to the release so the page always plays the latest render.

### How many Spotlights can a release have?
